Have you ever wondered what 0.005mm really means?

A human hair is about 0.07mm. The tolerance we hold is one-fourteenth of that. You can't see it — but the moment it goes into assembly, you know whether it fits or falls short.

The longer you do this, the more you realize that measurement matters more than machining.

Machining depends on equipment — and equipment can be bought. But measurement depends on people. On a veteran inspector with a dial indicator in a climate-controlled room, double-checking the same number. That truth hasn't changed in twenty years.

People ask why we don't work faster. We could. But fast and accurate point in different directions, and we chose accurate. Some things can't be rushed — like inspecting every single part in a batch with a CMM and finding them all within tolerance. That kind of confidence has no shortcut.

±5μm. Ra 0.4. Coaxiality ±0.003mm. These aren't marketing lines — they're the numbers printed on every inspection report for every part we ship.

From the moment you send us a drawing to the moment you receive finished parts, there are four steps. Each step has a dedicated contact — no bouncing between departments.

The slowest step is full inspection. Others sample-check; we check every part. It's slower, but customers don't need to re-inspect on receipt — skipping that step is the real time saver.

About

Meridian was founded in 2006 in Suzhou Industrial Park. Started with two lathes and four people. The founder, Lao Zhou, came from Shenyang Aircraft, where he spent a decade making aerospace parts before going out on his own.

The first five years were all single-part prototyping — thin margins, but it built the craft. Then came the gradual climb: lathes, then mills, then 5-axis, one step at a time. Today: 15,000 m² facility, 80 machines, 120 people.

Clients range from medical devices to automotive parts to consumer electronics. We export to over 30 countries — but we're still a workshop, not a factory. We don't want to be the biggest. We want to be the most precise.
